Spotify don't give a **** about their customers. Look at their forum: it's all you'll see people complain about. No point even trying. I actually almost never use Spotify on my phone anyway; just wondered if Hawk was having the same problem, since he says he uses it a lot.

My view on IT customer service is that no matter what they’re selling if they have a fix they’ll tell you but they’re not as prone to admit there’s no fix or if they think you’re likely to find it unacceptable, like get a new phone. I’ve had to delete the app and reset my phone and **** when it got glitchy. It’s the first priority of my phone even before texting and calling and other websites or apps.
