And they are still putting out music frequently in their youtube channel Particle Men with fan made videos of their songs and some are quite good. They got a good community going on and they're very productive in a wholesome kinda way. They don't project any sort of negativity, i like that.

Been checking out The Blue Album a bit and it's not bad. I'm nearly completely unfamiliar with the band's music, so I'll need to listen some more before I even know what to think of them.

The Blue Album is great, but I slightly prefer Pinkerton. The deluxe edition is especially god tier. It's free on soundcloud if you don't want to buy it: https://m.soundcloud.com/somecallmeg...deluxe-edition

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Also, being a bit further into the Blue Album now, I just want to say that I think Buddy Holly is a really cool song.

Listened a bit more and I kinda think that "Buddy Holly" is a masterful pop rock song that if Weezer had followed and not been just a totally boring indie band I might have cared about their career. But here we stand. **** Weezer.

No one else and Holiday are the sleeper hits in the blue album for me.

They're most definitely indie kids. If you got past your idea of underground punk **** you'd understand that indie ***s aren't necessarily independent, sometimes they just sound like indie losers. Weezer are absolutely indie kids no matter how they've marketed themselves as or been considered by the mainstream.
