Would you say that "half-assed vocals" applies to Floyd?

I'm listening to "The Wall" right now to try and find out what I even feel about Pink Floyd. I haven't heard that much, really. If there's another album I should be hearing instead, feel free to show me the way.
My first instinct is to say that I don't exactly find the vocals riveting, but I might end up somewhat disagreeing with myself there. |

The Wall's a good one but a bit drawn out for learning about the band. If you had to pick one record for an idea of their sound, it would be Dark Side of the Moon.

I know that you mean the style and emotion in his singing as opposed to his melodic virtuosity. That's why I called you a dork, because that's a huge part of singing that you're presenting as something separate.

Yes, Pink Floyd is. (I've given up trying to get the points you try to make. - You just enjoy picking people apart from your own pretentious sensibilities.)
Is Gilmour more popular than Holdsworth - Yes. Is Pink Floyd overrated - No. Is Brittany Spears more popular than Wagner - Yes. Is Wagner overrated - No.

Definitely, he's a very expressive singer and easily my fave of the Floyd vocalists.
