Yes, Waters fired Wright while recording The Wall, Gilmour didn't respect him that much, either.

Which amazes me because he created so much of the signature Pink Floyd sound

Yeah, I've heard that Johnny and Joey stopped talking to each other because one married the girlfriend of the other one, or something like that.

He composed the music of Us and Them, for example.

It wasn’t only that though. Including Dee Dee too there are lots of interviews where it’s very clear they didn’t understand why the others were essential to the sound.

Yes, I guess being in a band turns into something unpleasant sooner or later. I've only been in two bands, but I know something for sure...Guitarists have a huge enormous ego.

At 14 you’ve already been in two bands? Far out!

Hahaha, in the first one the guitarist punched the drummer in the face in a discussion about Beethoven and in the second one the bassist fell in love with the singer's girlfriend. (I play keyboards). Let's see if I can join a band which lasts more than two months. So I don't know if I'd really like to be in a band again.

You'll get used to it, don't worry. These aren't just normal internet images either; this is one of Marie's DIY memes™, brought to you by MS paint
