^ Ditto all this. Is it wrong of me that I enjoy the nod-and-wink Jaggerisms of Brian Jonestown Massacre more than the original Jagger:-

Come on, baby!

The suckiest thing about the Stones was they ****ed up their legacy by carrying on way too long. I actually like Tattoo You, but after that? WTF

Same here, "Too Much Blood" was too much for my taste I guess.

What sucks about The Rolling Stones?
Easy question, the answer is: Mick Jagger.
Not that he was a bad singer or songwriter, but his "I invented rock n' roll, babe" behaviour gets on my nerves every time i listen to The Rolling Stones. Don't get me wrong, they've got some great tunes, but Jagger was and still is so self conceited, that i can't stand him and I get annoyed with his music.

Trust me, "self conceited" gets on my nerves too. There are plenty artist I write off for the same reason. However I didn't get that from Mick. I just think of him as not talking himself too seriously and just goofing around singing. Even though he acts like he hot stuff he comes off as dorky. It's seems like all an act on stage, when he's not performing he seems like a regular bloke.

Yeah, I couldn't stand Robert Plant for the same reason, not because he was self conceited, but because of his attitude on stage, which consisted on wearing (ridiculous) floral blouses and saying "babe, babe mama let's go, woman" thousands of times while Page was doing a 20 minute long guitar solo with a violin bow and Bonham was doing an even longer drum solo. And they acted as if they were supercool, while I was thinking "Lord, this is so boring"...I know it doesn't have much to do with the topic, but I used to think about Led Zeppelin the same way I think about The Rolling Stones now. Now I'm a huge Zep fan, who knows, maybe I'll get to like the Stones, too.

They've been working on a new album for the past 5-6 years and they still haven't finished it. I'm not expecting much from them at this point in their career but I'd still like to hear it before we all die of old age.

If you're not a fan of Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith, then add this to the list of atrocities because it was the inspiration for it.
