Why do you have to use either?

Just by not calling yourself either positive or negative you're giving up on life? You absolutely are required to label yourself and tell anyone who will listen about how you insist on thinking positively/negatively and presumably also talk about attracting positive/negative energy?

More like giving up on ambiguous and subjective buzzwords in favour of something that more accurately describes a philosophy.
