Clutch - Book of Bad Decisions

New Clutch album is awesome. It's their typical sound, but that's never a bad thing.

"Zamaan Ya Sukkar is a rich musical portrait from the time when Cairo was the vibrant cultural heart of the Middle East and the grandeur of the leading orchestras was incomparable. Unearthed latin and jazz-tinged tracks will let your mind drift off to the glamorous nightlife of 60's Cairo. Meet some forgotten souls of the Egyptian music scene and cinema world. Sensual voices and Bollywood-like orchestra sounds inflame the senses of the body with an intangible exotic twist! All music is remastered from original 45's produced by Sono Cairo."

Salah Ragab’s tenor player, Sayed Salamah, is stewed in latinized Ellingtonia on this one:

There's a lot of hating towards the new Pig Destroyer album and the direction the band is going, but I can't help to spin it a third time for today allready. This really isn't my usual cup of tea, but damn I love this! For now I see myself actually liking this more than their old purer grindcore stuff. So, yeah, Pig Destroyer "Head Cage" out today on Relapse, and yeah it's a kinda "uncool" metalcore thingy with some grind and sludge. Groovy as well!
All that cool stuff I was to listen to had to wait...

Hasn't Pig Destroyer been reviled as fake grindcore since Phantom Limb which was a ****ing awesome album?

Yeah, I think they went downhill from Terrifyer, but now they climbed it back up. Although on a different hill alltogether.
