They play a lot out here, I've probably seen them 6 or 7 times. Always a good show and I love her screams.

Milo - Budding Ornithologists Are Weary of Tired Analogies
Let's see if he can top Who Told You to Think?!?!?!!? Laurent Jeanneau - Music of Northern Laos I'm seeing a lot of conflicting release dates for this, but I think it went up for digital distribution and it looks awesome so **** it. Brockhampton's Iridescence dropped today too if you're into that sort of thing. Beak> - >>> |

New album out today by Aaron Turner's post-Isis band SUMAC. Haven't listened yet, so don't know what to expect. Did like their first album in 2015, mostly because of the tech-sludge drumming of this Nick Yacyshyn, who I had no prior knowings about. The participation of Aaron Turner (which was the reason for my interest in SUMAC in the first place) I found kind of bland though, but I guess his rif***e never was that fun even in Isis (don't get me wrong; I like Isis!). The second SUMAC album and the Keiji Haino-collab didn't get fully there imo, allthough I have to confess I haven't really tried enough with the Haino one yet.
Anyhow, will most certainly spin this one later this evening: https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a2587684122_7.jpg SUMAC - Love In Shadow And I do enjoy the Aaron Turner transformation in to a hairy caveman hippie, moving to the countryside growing vegetables and whathaveyou. |
This beast came out today. First in five years.

The one with David Fair is pretty rad and heavy, haven't gotten around to the other one yet.
