Take all of the dorkiest things about prog. Add a chipmunk with a microphone.
Wrong as **** man. They didn't dress up so it's more like 95% of what's dorky about prog.

Not intentionally, no. When you never give any genuine reasons as to why you like or dislike something, it's pretty easy to assume that you're just trying to avoid getting kicked out of the punk club or an equally mindless way to approach music.

TBF I don't think anyone with friends listens to Genesis in high school.

Don't you need other people to play D&D though?

I was listening to avant-garde class 7 advanced jazz in middle school.

@MicShaz: bit of a disappointment but not entirely surprising. On Marillion, if you don't like "the vocalist" (that's Fish) then avoid the first four albums. Batty would of course say avoid all of them, but up his. They changed singers for the fifth album Seasons End and the style gradually changed a lot too. I reckon you might like Afraid of Sunlight or maybe Anoraknophobia; you could try those if you ever get back to checking my men out.

However.... if you can't dig 2112 then I'm sorry, but we can no longer be friends.

Oh I will check them out again. I do own one album of theirs that I like. It's just a long, long list of stuff I feel like I should check out some more. I'm sure you know exactly what that's like!
