Thou, Magus

This is sludge metal that is both crushing and beautiful. Lots of black metal influence.

Probably gonna be my AOTY at this rate.

It’s great.

They’re an underrated band for sure. Sparhawk’s album Solo Guitar is an unsung masterpiece from 2006. I went through a phase where I listened to it over and over.

This and the Spiritualized record could both squeeze their way into my end of the year 2018 top ten AOTY.

Listening to it now, the first track is great.

It gets a bit Muse-y at the end but otherwise I loved it.

Listened to two tracks off the Dizzee Rascal EP last night.

Yes it is good Goof.

The track with Skepta and the one that sounds like a Garage tune a bit.

Love this band! All their stuff is awesome, althouh I favour their self-titled debut, I think. But that one kind of was before they found their middle-eastern-tinged signature sound and was more like a standard noiserock.
