The Lemonheads.

I had the TVs down as The Talking Heads, cause they were all head shots of commentators. They could also be Television Personalities too.

Yeah, I realised I was wrong there, as with Dollar. I still think Television is right, but the problem with this is that there can on occasions be multiple interpretations.

Well done with your list, by the way: you've outshone us all.

Well, thank you.

I guess I forgot to list Madonna, even it was one of the first ones I caught. I still missed ones you pointed out, those bands were the farthest from my mind. I was thinking Deep Blue Something for the shark poster, because a shark dwells in the deep blue, but Great White makes more sense.

Other I realized after posting was The Tubes (which is referenced by the subway) and Pavement, which is probably the most obvious one after Spoon for the spoon. I couldn't figure out if the three women crossing the street were dressed in 60s fashion, so I didn't mention The Go-Go's, but it is a possibility. I connect the three women to Nancy Sinatra since they were wearing boots and walking across the street which clearly a reference to her hit "These Boots Are Made For Walking."

Since the sky was pink, and it's pretty big I was thinking The Band (since their album is called Big Pink) however P!nk makes more sense.

I don't think anyone has picked the people in white as The Cult yet.

Also, the dude getting the mail is The Postal Service. And all the people in the windows = Crowded House.

I knew the underground had to be something, and I was desperate for it to be the VU, but couldn't see any sign of anything velvet. Tubes is good. I wonder could it be Steps, though? I'm still stumped by those women, but the colours must have something to do with it, so I'll keep thinking about that. Pity they're not nuns, then they'd be Sisters of Mercy!

That postal guy was driving me mad. Didn't know there was a band called that. Nice work, Jansz. So not The Residents for the people in the window? Actually, CH makes more sense.

I wonder are we falling into the trap of expecting EVERYTHING in the picture to be a band? Like, I was thinking, what does the cart (on which the guns and roses are for sale) represent? What about those pineapples? The only thing I had for the latter was Pineapple Thief, but there's nobody robbing any. Hmm. OP, is there an answer list anywhere, for when we eventually all give up?
