Default Sheena Ringo

That's it, I'm starting a thread.
Since her output is so varied, I'm putting it in 'General Music'.
I guess you could just call it J-Pop, but there are tons of different styles and the whole thing is at times quite experimental. There's something there for everybody.

Dig in!

Sheena Ringo is fantastic and Yokushitsu has one of my favourite basslines ever.

A shame though that yours is the only response.
This forum sucks.

Thinking about buying the DVD, although 70€ (including shipping) are a bit much.

Heisei Fuuzoku is full of great stuff, but its version of Yoku****su is inferior to the original.

Maybe I listen to Sheena tonight? I think so.

As it is so often the case with her many self-covers, I can appreciate both versions about equally. The original rocks more, the second has all the orchestral stuff, which I am a total sucker for.
The one thing that makes the original a bit better in my eyes is that it's it's all in Japanese. It always bugs me a bit when she sings English. Except for Kuki, which sounds really cool in the English version from Heisei Fuuzoku as well.

And in case someone else is reading this thread, here's a live version of the track we're talking about.
The arrangement is very similar to the self-cover, but I could find neither of the album versions on Youtube.
Fantastic stuff anyway:
