I remember Charles once said he knew Gus pretty well, but did Charles Mingus was his friend?

I didn't understand that post so I shown it to my friend Stan and he lol'd. I guess Stan Getz it, but I sure don't,

I like to take Partch in pun chains but for some reason this one is really Riley me up. I might be too Young to play the Pärt.
Of course tell me if you think I'm not Reich in this Cale, I can take it. I'm not made of Glass.

Yeah remember the time Johnny sold Sid the tomatoes? Johnny Lydon him saying the tomatoes were nice and ripe. So Sid bought a whole bushel of them. Sid didn't realize they were bad till he got home and tried them. He tried to return Johnny Rotten tomatoes but couldn't get his money back. Needless to say not getting that refund sure made Sid Vicious.

I would have the opposite opinion of some of the people earlier in the thread in that I like the acoustic/antithetic stuff like Stairway and Battle of Evermore, but the mid-tempo hard rock is just one dimensional and dull to me. I get that they were really good at their instruments, there's just a million other things I'd rather listen to. The drum sounds on Levee are pretty cool, though.

I guess I'd give it about a 7.
