If Black Sabbath is formulaic for having a sound and identifiable players, then Zeppelin is just as guilty. Then again, I'm fairly certain that you haven't heard any Sabbath records to be able to make such a ridiculous assertion. Maybe pretend that we're not comparing Sabbath to Zeppelin or that nobody is daring to disagree with you? Maybe that will help you avoid making short-sighted statements in a kneejerk defense.

Does this response
A: Make people want to think about, listen to, and discuss Led Zeppelin.
B: Make people think that Zeppelin is only for obnoxious retiree nonces.

One guitarist, one bassist, one drummer, and a singer.

And they play riffs. Not at all like Led Zeppelin.

Sabbath designed their own formula.

But going from Zep 1 to ITTOD Zeppelin successfully traversed more terrain.

The common denominator for all things Sabbath is Iommi. Wouldn’t you say his riffs are the cornerstone no matter the rest?

I've never found it boring either but as I said a while back, I'd never heard it until I got the album. Was about 2012/13. Maybe a bit earlier, can't remember. I was late to the party either way.

I thought it was pretty good. After a few listens I loved it.
