If Black Sabbath is formulaic for having a sound and identifiable players, then Zeppelin is just as guilty. Then again, I'm fairly certain that you haven't heard any Sabbath records to be able to make such a ridiculous assertion. Maybe pretend that we're not comparing Sabbath to Zeppelin or that nobody is daring to disagree with you? Maybe that will help you avoid making short-sighted statements in a kneejerk defense.

Sabbath designed their own formula.
But going from Zep 1 to ITTOD Zeppelin successfully traversed more terrain.

The common denominator for all things Sabbath is Iommi. Wouldn’t you say his riffs are the cornerstone no matter the rest?
