I'd give it an 8, 1 point for each track, but RnR and StH weigh it down to a 4. Remove those tracks and replace em with maybe some Raggae/Zydeco fueled extranvagonzo's and it'll become a fully erect 8 again.

If I was twice my age, this album would probably mean a lot more to me. As it stands, I find it to be a solid rock album but not much else. It doesn't contain any of my favorite favorite zep songs, but as a whole I prefer it to I,II and III (Houses is my favorite), though I find myself putting it on much less often than hose records. Maybe I've heard the songs so many times outside of my own personal listening that they seem corny to me? Not sure tbh.

allmusic.com has it right. Zep's the only artist I've ever seen on that site with 6 consecutive 5 star ratings from both allmusic and the users.
