I’ve gone through Goofle’s lists with a fine toothed comb, and you, sir, are no Goofle.

I think he's saying more that your approach to how other people like music you hate/hate music you like is totally narrowminded, and it is. You don't seem to accept that other people have other opinions. It's your way or Interstate 76. It is very narrowminded, in that regard, and it makes you come across as very combative and arrogant.

I've asked you to turn off your webcam. I won't ask again. I deserve my privacy.

Who said I was? Just like you are no Batlord and he is no Trollheart, etc., etc.

Besides, who wants to be a robot, except Frownie maybe?

I meant you have much less to offer, musically.

Why, because I'm not a jazz or hip-hop fanatic? I could the same about you since you're piegonholed in what jazz you like for example.

Likely because you seem to have a surface level pop perspective on music. Plus, it makes a lot of sense to explore avant-garde jazz more than BS smooth jazz like this record because the avant-garde side of things is inherently evolving. This is a dumb contest, but I'd also gather that OH can name more genres that he listens to than you can good artists (even if you're the one choosing what's good).

Okay, tell me who the greatest folk artists are then. Name some bands from the sixties you like other than Captain Beefheart. I didn't read in the rules that members had to be rabid fans of jazz and/or hip-hop. I thought this place was open to people interested in all genres of music, not just the world according to Frownland and Occult.

That would be because it's not in the rules.

It is, but you asked why you're no Goofle. Did you want me to lie to you?

What is basically a rule though is not getting too deep into discussons about musical taste with Frown and Doc Occ. Just enjoy their obnoxiousness (and their mostly great recs) for what it is.

I'm no Goofle because we have different interests in music. To say I don't contribute here because of that is frankly an insult not only to me, but to others that may have different musical interests than you do. I don't share all of the same things Mic or Nea might like but I would never insult them on their contributions here.

Maybe you're right, Frown. Maybe the internet is only for a******* like you.
