I really love how Renée Fleming sings the first track on the album. After I first heard the album, I was quite surprised to later find that she normally things a completely different style of music.

Of course I also really like Rickie Lee Jones' appearance on the album (I like her own albums).

I'm sure I'm the only one here who would say this but: I'd really love it if Childs did another album of this sort, covering a different artist. Maybe Joni Mitchell, or someone more contemporary like Suzanne Vega. Using yet another 10 different singers for the project while he's at it. I'd put my money on that CD first chance I got.

Four birds. It exacerbated the ongoing music-taste feud between MicShizzle and me. I told him the plus and minuses of the album. Do you think he would appreciate the plus side? No. Shaz zeroed in on all the minuses cause mostly everyone else was taking him to the cleaners with bad album reviews. You and Frownland really chafed his musical ego. I figured since he can't get back at you and Frownland he takes his rage out on me and my excellent music recs.

On behalf of me and the other three birds, thanks for ruining MB for us.
