Default Anyone else tired of Brit Pop?

I'm not gonna say Brit Pop sucks, I'm just tired of hearing it on the radio. That type of music seems to be making a bit of a comeback since its days in the nineties. But yeah, I've heard enough of catchy pop tunes and British accents. That's all!

Yeah but look at what replaced it when it went last time. Pop , lame r&b , nu metal & an endless supply of airheads from reality TV.

I`d happily have 100 crap guitar bands on the radio & hope that a couple of them move on & become good (Look how crap Radioheads Pablo Honey album is compared to the stuff they did later) than have any of the above mentioned.

^ Tis common Knowledge that Pablo Honey Is nowhere as near as good as The Bends or Ok Computer.

But Yeah. They don't play the best music on the radio most of the time. and they talk a load of crapp.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Default Ain't so bad...

Well it's not THAT bad, maybe that's because I'm british...

I think what you're really referring to is that the Killers are being so popular, and the brit pop re-explosion is coming from that (Yes I know the Killers are from Las Vegas, but their sound is total B.P.)

As far as music goes it's better than listening to country.

What radiostations do you listen to? All clearchannel stuff? We (SF bay area) have Live105, thank god, who bring us some new music every so often.
