Clocking in over half a million monthly listens on Spotify, Italian composer Frederick Albanese is enjoying a great deal of success. He doesn’t have a large English language web presence (that I found, at least) so I suppose those listens are coming from lands of forked tongues.

This is a quality neo-classical ambient record that’s not too cool to be sweeping and moving. A very well-produced blend of electronic and acoustic sounds. Recommended.

dedekind cut tahoe

If the search function isn’t lying this is the first mention of Dedekind Cut on these forums. This record is an absolute sonic delight. It pulls from the most delicious wells, produced and mixed perfectly and wonderfully intoxicating. If ambient drone is one of your things this cannot be missed.

He gave me a mixtape in a bar once when he was doing work as Lee Bannon. Haven't given the new record a full listen but the other album he dropped under that moniker is nice.

Lays out the texture. Sticks to the formula but effective. I like it and recommend it but it’s not reaching out to fans outside the niche. Thankfully afaic.
