My Cat Is An Alien & Jean-Marc Montera - Union Of The Supreme Light Taj Mahal Travelers meets Acid Mothers Temple during a Keiji Haino performance of Koko. These guys have a pretty great back catalog for those not in the know. |

The Black Dog - Black Daisy Wheel These guys have been out it for a long time now. They released this ambient record on the same day as the dancier Post-Truth. I enjoyed it. |

Oneohtrix Point Never - Age Of
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ver_Age_Of.jpg Track by Track Age Of - Kind of cool kind of corny warped out Bachish harpsichord sounds Babylon - Sounds like Kid Rock going synth - a good thing Manifold - Cool keyboards trippy samples - pretty cool The Station - Cool trippy futuristic pop song - actually a great song Toys 2 4:39 - suddenly had the thought to just copy and paste the song titles intrumental Track Keeping with the basic sound of this record which is a cool sound 6. "Black Snow" 3:4? I guess this song is a single or something because it’s a video on Spotify I hate videos on Spotify unless you request it but I’ll try not to let that prejudice me - Cool futuristic pop song - I like it a lot and I can type this instead of watching the stupid video 7. "myriad.industries" 1:07 A short experimental track bringing back the harpsichord sound - whatevs 8. "Warning" 2:38 Interesting retro tape manipulation sounds of pioneering electronic music - molds into a something that sort of reminds me of Art of Noise 9. "We'll Take It" 3:45 Like an update on Negativland - that’s a compliment 10. "Same" 2:02 Pet Shop Boys take lots of acid. Yes that’s a great thing. 11. "RayCats" 3:40 Change of direction - oriental feel maybe strumming a koto or something - the percussion is sort of Korean or or Japanesey - there’s that kid with the harpsichord again - is that what happens when you change the effect - vocal manipulations - harkens on 1960’s or earlier electronics - pretty cool 12. "Still Stuff That Doesn't Happen" 4:22 Unless I’m wrong we got Anohni on vocals here. Can’t go wrong with that. 13. "Last Known Image of a Song" Grand finale - sounds more like ONP’s earlier stuff - the r stuff - less jerky feel than the rest of the record - less epileptic- structurely similar to modal jazz This has been a good album but hearing this makes me think he should’ve been keeping it here from the get go - probably the best track on the record |

Our reviews are pretty close.

I started viewing his music a bit differently after I realized that it was pronounced one-oh-trix and not oh-neo-trix.
