MB Classics: Slayer - Reign in Blood
Album is Slayer's Reign in Blood.
Your vote only counts if you say something about the album. It doesn't need to be a paragraph, just a couple sentences about the album. Also, I'll ask mods to delete Votes this time. Just a couple of sentences, that's all. |

I barely ever listen to thrash metal anymore, and when I do, I'd much rather listen to some old Megadeth. They're really the only of the big 4 that still comes through my stereo with any regularity. I still have my Metallica albums, but actually listening to any of them is barely an annual event.
I had a short fling with Slayer years ago, but never really cared much for them beyond that. At least I like them better than Anthrax - the ****tiest of the big 4 by several lightyears. Kerry king's solos are annoyingly one dimensional and so is Araya's barking. It's really only the drumming I admire. I'm way more interested in Lombardo's various musical projects than I ever was in Slayer. I probably wouldn't even think of this as the best slayer album, as the constant top speed tempos make it sort of repetitive, despite the ultra short album length. Super important thrash album, no doubt about it, but doesn't hold a candle to Rust in Peace. 6/10. |
