Mustaine can arrange a song, but he has never touched on the kind of hellish (or any other kind of) atmosphere that Slayer does. And Mustaine sounds like he's taking a ****. And they only have 4 albums worth listening to while 90% of Slayer's discog is excellent. And you suck.

When it comes to atmosphere, death metal does what Slayer tries to do better, tbh It's funny because it's true. |

Christ, they even have police for ****ing now? Jesus! What's happened to this world? You can do nothing now.
Look, even a know-nothing-about-real-metal wanker like me got blown away by this album first time, and I had feared (yeah) listening to it. Mind you, it wasn't until I went through Slayer's discog for one of the Metal Months that I realised how head and shoulders and everything else you can think of it stands above everything in Slayer's discography, to say nothing of most other metal albums. Can I get an "ANGEL OF DEATH!!!!!!!!" ? The perfect metal album? Hard question to answer, but the answer is **** YES! 10/10

I actually am with Mic on preferring Rust In Peace, but they're not great for the same reasons. Reign In Blood is great because it's the quinessential thrash metal album that you'd show to someone if they asked you what the genre was all about. It's violent, it has a gory awesome album cover, it's short but crams a lot of music into that short amount of time, and it really never ceases to be aggressive. It's one of my favorite metal albums of all time, no doubt. 10/10.

I never listened to Megadeth because they're heavy. I like most of their albums, admittedly. Even Super Collider. I'm not a big DM fan, but if I was looking for something heavy and "evil" feeling, I'd put on a Nile record over a Slayer record, every time. |
