What are you so pissed at again?
Cos no matter what it is, if it doesn't fit into his narrow musical world he pisses on it. I used to be like that, but I learned. At least now I'm trying some of the genres I used to hate, blindly, without ever hearing much other than what was maybe on the radio. I just think if he doesn't want to listen to other music, fine, but it's annoying when he keeps pissing on everything he doesn't like.

Also, he's a moany ****. When does he ever say anything positive or complimentary?

When he defends neoliberalism.

Liked this one a fair bit (even though it would probably be a lot better overall in English). There's elements of industrial, prog-metal, even some melodeath...and, as others have pointed out, a liberal use of piano.

When it comes to metal for me, I look for something that's very definitive in a band's approach or sound. Sometimes that's an overwhelmingly good singer. Sometimes that's a crazy avant-garde level of variety. Sometimes that's really catchy songs. These guys don't really have the former or much of the latter, but if there's one thing they have going for them its a high level of technicality in the arrangements and more varied song structures than some of their ilk I've heard, with 'Masiina' being the closest thing to standout for me.

6 out of 10
