Yeah but you still get dress down days where you show off your style. You also have those casual dances where you show your style. At my school there was a kick off dance that was like the first week of every year. Looking back, that's probably the first impression of style you'd be making in high school. And besides, I went to a catholic school where we wore uniforms and there is still "some" style in how you wear it. Or else I'd think every girl that walked by looked like Britney Spears...

Guys it's the hair style and shoes. Girls it's the hair too but also the length of the skirts and ok, honestly, the kinda boxers they wear haha! (Yeah, for you not in private school all girls used to wear boxers under their skirts or else it was their ass when they were walking up the stairs... their ass being shown. :P There is also some style in how baggy or not baggy sweaters and pants are worn. I dunno you might be right about not having that problem in catholic school but I still think it was easy to pick out the dorks from the people who had some style... no matter what style it was.

yeaaaa but enless you don't talk to the person and/or hang out with them, there's no way to be 100% sure.

the length of the skirts, to me, doesn't say what kind of music they listen to. boxers? i never heard of that. we just wear little shorts or something.
