Recently I got a CD with a variety of pieces from between the mid 19th century and early 20th. Erik Satie, Debussy and others. While not quite the same as the piece you posted here, I can see how one has followed from the other, and I like both styles. |

If you're not fond of that particular song, (though I assume you may already know of her) her earlier stuff is a bit less doom-laden. I don't know much about this lady; I found her on youtube today and liked it. .. and some more modern classical: And if you happen to like moody cello music I'd suggest Julia Kent and Lost in Hildurness. Sorry if that's too many videos for one post; I didn't really come in with a plan. |
