This isn't a troll. I legit would like you to hear more from an artist who have moved on from many sounds in their career and don't just sound like the same thing from album to album. And to be perfectly honest I'd like to hear the opinion of one of the very few people on this site who doesn't just **** on ICP.

I'll listen when I have time, but this isn't what I'm looking for. Say I like, oh I don't know, Son House. I ask for more blues. You post more Son House. I say no, I already like him, try posting another artist. No point in showing me stuff I already know. Make sense?

Frownland's rec shows someone who gets it. Even if I hate SP, I'll listen cos I ain't heard them before, and frankly, I sort of do want to see if he's just being a blind fanboy or if there is something there.

I have absolutely no problem with multiple recs from diverse artists, as it says in the OP. I'm sure you could rec me twenty million Zorn and none would be the same. But I am ****ED if I'm listening to a fistful of ICP just to boost his already overswollen ego about that band.

I also like Genesis. Is anyone posting Genesis tracks? Or what about Ruthie Foster, whom I just got into via the albums thread?
