Agreed. In some ways, it´s almost like a culmination of Bowie´s career. As much as I love 1.Outside, Heathen, The Next Day and Blackstar/No Plan, he never reached back the heights of everything up to Scary Monsters. The sound of that record is like an amalgamation of his poprock Glam era, the funkiness of the mid-70s and the experimental art rock of the late 70s. It´s like the culmination of Bowie. One can only dream of what a tour for that album would´ve looked like, I always had this fantasy of the show starting with his full Piérrot costume in It´s No Game part 1 and eventually evolving into normal David to close the concert with It´s No Game part 2.

To add to what Chula said, if you get a remastered version of it and you have a good stereo system or headphones, yeah, it makes all the difference in the world as far as hearing all of the arrangements on this album. These guys really put a lot of effort into their music, not just this album, but other Bowie albums and albums by other artists, and that's so easy to overlook when you're just getting into music or you don't have the right equipment. It's the difference between watching a movie on one of those worn out old 100 pound box TVs that's just about seen it's last days and going to a cinema that has state of the art picture and sound.
