well it was the album that got me into black metal. i knew nothing about the genre but found the album on a metal website and gave it a go, ended up falling in love instantly.

a lot of people dislike blackgaze because it trades the raw cacophonous sound for some really beautiful moments, but i assumed you’re the type of listener who would actually appreciate that aspect of it. glad i assumed right
