All great replies!

Obvious ones.

When you go though Zep’s discography song by song so many of them are iconic from the first sound. Side 1 of Zoso for example

Black Dog Check
Rock and Roll check
Battle of Evermore check
Stairway - check

Plus the drum beat to Levee might be the most distinctive in all of rock music.

Here’s a different direction

When the Levee Breaks mashed up with Sweat Leaf. Still gets my dick hard.

For the record: 100 guitarists play the Smoke on the Water riff? 98 of them get it wrong.

Omit the 5th note of the major scale dumbasses. Even though it's the easy and simple way out.

OccultHawk 11-09-2017 02:03 PM

post an mp3 of you playing the riff and I’ll tell you if you got it
