Probably a teenager. Allen claims she was 21 when they dated (he would have been 56 at the time).

They both consented. She’s still cool with it. Why the hate?

It's kind of creepy doing whatever with your girlfriend's daughter (albeit adopted), don't you think? Anyway, I still watch his films.

No. I don’t think it’s creepy as long as both parties are cool with it.

They're still married after all these years, right? Maybe it wasn't just an old man creepin'?

Honestly, for every bad artist I love, I know for a fact that there are three more that you guys love that are just as bad. I truly feel like this place is full of people who can't judge each other for ****. So no, there's nothing I would be embarrassed to mention here.

I think bob. is a fan of them, if I am not mistaken.

I always passed over them cause because I wasn't very familiar with their material except for a few hits, like S.O.S, Waterloo, Dancing Queen, etc. So I decided to listen them and I went through 80% of their material. I'll say they are pretty good. I know there is (or was) a huge community of ABBA fans that totally worship them as the greatest band ever, even better than The Beatles. I remember having an argument with an ABBA fan over "I Saw It in the Mirror," ironically he was the ABBA fanatic and said the song was good at all, and I was defending it as an OK song. As I seen it, ABBA was going for a Van Morrison type song, but even though it wasn't as good as Van Morrison, I gave it an A for effort. I didn't mention Van Morrison to him, cause you can ever mention another artist to an ABBA fan as being just as good or even better, that is like a hard fast rule you most follow when engaging a conversation with an ABBA fan. I found the whole thing a bit surreal that I was defending ABBA to an ABBA fanatic.

ABBA crossed paths with bands that I liked. Both Genesis and Led Zeppelin recorded album at Polar Studios, and Frida work with Phil Collins with her solo album.

ABBA - I Saw It in the Mirror

Frida - I Know There's Something Going On

"Fool In The Rain" Isolated drum track (Bonzo) Polar Studios 1979

Genesis - Duke (recorded at ABBA's Polar Studios)

Probably Phil Collin era Genesis. I was under immense peer pressure by a MB member (who shall be remain nameless or hitherto not named) into not liking Abacab, but I resisted that pressure. Again almost like ABBA fans you are not to engage a Proggers with anything related to Pop or about Progressive bands that leaned towards Pop in the 80s or even alt-Rock or indie bands for that matter. And even more specifically among Genesis fans you shouldn't like Phil Collins era, as if Genesis took a nose dive when Peter Gabriel left, and Phil Collins crashed and burn what was once a beautiful Progressive Rock band. I just think that Genesis music reflected what was "happening" at the time and the album they released are part of that music Zeitgeist. That being said I think Genesis even though taking cues from 80s from contemporaries that were in synth pop, or 70s R&B (or what have you) they were definitely in a league of their own. Another band I see get looked down on is Asia by Proggers. I am a fan of Steve Howe and I really like what he did with Asia.

Asia's first album is top notch.
