Just Bowie I think

Maybe Outkast, first heard them when I was 11.

Everything else I either don't like any more or got into later.

mad ting tbh how old were you?

I wish my parents were into Prince. Got loads of vinyls from them, but not a single Prince one.

How dare they.

very young. Tango in the Night is one of the first albums I can remember listening to in full. My father isn't a huge Prince fan, but Purple Rain is one of his favourite albums.

when I bought my first car he gave me all of his old cassettes as it was an '01 and didn't have a CD player. Prince, MJ, Beastie Boys, and Def Leppard were all I listened to for like 3 or 4 months straight.

i was also introduced to metal through him. i mean, he got me into intro stuff i guess. Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot and Van Halen in particular. these bands in turn got me checking out stuff like Priest, Maiden, and so on. i still love all those bands to this day.

One for me is Mr. Bungle. My dad was and is heavily into their first album, which he got after he saw them perform it before I was born. My mom didn't like me listening to it, so of course I gravitated towards it. I've overplayed it for myself a bit at this point, but I still love it when I throw it on every once in a while. I obviously can't speak for the future but I see this being pretty consistent.

So what are your personal classics?

You have parents?

I began listening to The Beatles when I was nine years old, back in 1964. I have been a strong fan of The Beatles ever since. Especially the psychedelic stuff. My top favourite album of all time and all artists is Magical Mystery Tour. So many great melodies on that one!

I also feel a *lot* of nostalgia for the black and white period of Blue Öyster Cult. I was around 18 to 21 years old then. For about three entire years I listened to almost nothing except BÖCs first three albums. But after three years it became monotonous!

The Beatles have been a favorite of mine since the 60's, as well. First heard them on BBC Radio at home when I was a wee lad.

Those first 3 Blue Öyster Cult albums are their best studio LP's in my opinion. The band has their moments with occasional songs on subsequent studio LP's but the first 3 are all solid listens from start to finish.

The one I’ve been enjoying the longest is Duane Eddy. An older sibling had a couple of his 45s that I used to play when I was really young. Sadly, Mr. Eddy passed away recently.
