![]() ![]() Album title: Shaping the Soul Artist: Ithilien Genre: Folk Metal Nationality: Belgian Release date: February 17 Position in Discography: Second Fear Factor: Low Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? A very little, but what I've heard mostly I like Average RYM Score: 3.18 Ah, just the thing I need to blow away the fugue clouds put in my mind and ears by the last album: some good old folk metal. Growl it there for me, buddy! Love the violin and especially, of all things, the bagpipes being used here, really gets into that folky feel that some of the bands in this genre tend to sometimes miss out on. Yeah this is great stuff; power and passion. “Emma” is a great medieval style instrumental with, I think, possibly, just bagpipes? Really enjoyed this album. Check out more from this artist? Yes Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Yes ![]() Expectation Index: 0
