![]() ![]() Album title: Life Without Sound Artist: Cloud Nothings Genre: Indie Rock/Post Hardcore/Punk Rock/Noise Rock Nationality: American Release date: January 27 Position in Discography: Fourth Fear Factor: Pretty Damn High Familiar with this artist? Heard one album; hated it Familiar with the genre or subgenre? No Average RYM Score: 3.01 The Fear Factor remains high, since the last album I heard from these guys (and the only album) really did nothing for me, and I'm not really expecting much from this. At least it's relatively short. Okay, well, good start. I like this. Hey it's quite fun; I mean, there's nothing new here and it gets a little frenetic at times, like as “Darkened Rings” nears its end, but there's so far nothing here I hate. Hmm: the opening riff to “Enter Entirely” sounds suspiciously close to Springsteen's “Downbound train”... I mean, the thing is, it's good, but nothing in particular really makes an impression on me. Maybe it needs a few more listens. Still, a huge improvement on Attack on Memory at any rate. Check out more from this artist? Not really sure Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Maybe ![]() Expectation Index: 4
