Is there anywhere that literally does catalog EVERY album released this year though? I see stuff coming out of Bandcamp on an almost daily basis where even Discogs and RateYourMusic can't keep up.

There might be hidden death metal and grind treasures on Bandcamp just waiting for you to dig 'em up.

And yet when you realize it doesn't you don't change your behavior to suit your new reality, you change reality to suit your behavior. Just admit that you know you can't do what you said you would and are scrambling to save face.

And that would be a silly, arbitrary, boring idea for a thread if the original concept was actually to listen only to the albums on the Wiki list.

Once again, **** off.
Here are my thought processes, since you seem to be able to get into my head you probably don't need them but here they are anyway.
One day I thought "I don't listen to enough new albums. I'll check Wiki and see what came out this year."
Then I thought, "I'll listen to all of these and make a thread about it."
End of story.
You and Frown and others then started saying "Oh but that list isn't complete, you should use RYM, do this do that etc." I considered this and said no, I was going with my ORIGINAL idea. As I am, as I will be, is now and ever shall be, world without end, **** off.
Got it?
I don't care what you THINK I'm doing, I'm not: I'm following EXACTLY the idea I had in the beginning. IF I had said, after creating the thread, maybe I'll change to RYM and then gone back on my word, then you would have a case. You don't. I've never indicated I would change from my original idea, and I won't. You clearly can't accept that, but you can clearly go **** yourself, so please do.

Also you're proving Batlord right with that post.

Key word: maybe. I decided not to, as this turned out to be a lot more work than I had originally expected, though as you'll note I'm now adding in the RYM rating for each album.

There is absolutely no reason to go with your original idea since it's a very thin slice of the music released this year. The only reason to keep doing it this way is to not have to put in more work. Or, you know, you're just being autistic.

If you only review the wiki list you're only reviewing popular albums. There's nothing wrong with it, just call a spade a spade and cut the sanctimonious BS.

This is now a Black Card Situation

Assuming most of you have not seen the series Red Dwarf, let me explain: a White Card is an indication that the conversation may continue, a Black Card means the subject is closed. Continue to discuss how wrong I am as you see it if you want to waste your time, but don't expect any further input from me. I will ignore any further posts that try to change my mind about the Wiki list, tell me how wrong I am for using it, suggest other sources, or basically just refer to that subject in any way. I'm too busy and I've had it with you whiners so
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...Ukem1_kP3NoQT8
to my list and my Spotify, and will continue to run this thread as I see fit. None of your whining, cajoling, semi-logic or tears of frustration will stop me.
