Album title: Aquaberry Aquarius Artist: Riff Raff Genre: Hip-Hop/Trap Nationality: American Release date: January 30 Position in Discography: Nineteenth (mixtape) Fear Factor: High Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? No Average RYM Score: 2.20 Well we're finally finished with January the ****ing twenty-seventh, and this takes us two more albums closer to the end of the first month. Oddly and rather a nice surprise for me, it's only nine tracks and none of them are long, so almost another EP. And it opens on an acoustic guitar? Eh, hold on there a second bub! What's going on here? Singing? Not rapping? Okay there's the rap but damn it's cool. I like this. This slow, dramatic rap – Trap, yeah? - this might actually be appealing to me. But **** Travis Scott still. “Word Around Town” is great and to be honest it looks like everything here is. Even the reggae infused “I'm Not Waitin' On the Summer” is cool. “Last Time I Checked” is also great. As is this album. Another surprise. Check out more from this artist? Yes Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Yes http://www.trollheart.com/speed9.jpg Expectation Index: 10 |
Okay then, here's what I think:
https://media.collegetimes.com/uploa...op-whining.gif If you believe I'm missing out on some great albums, this is what you can do. At the end of each month anyone who likes can recommend up to three of their favourite albums from that month, and I'll do them in a separate section I'm going to call https://media.giphy.com/media/l2Je2o...WhBS/giphy.gif Note: don't bother picking albums you know I'll hate, as I have my clauses and I'll just use one of them if it's obvious you're ****ing with me. This is your chance, all of you, to suggest your three favourite albums from each month and have me review them. Post here - don't PM please - and I'll get to them as soon as I can. And rather obviously, nothing I've already reviewed. If in doubt, check the Wiki list to see if the album(s) you're suggesting has/have been covered. Also, again rather obviously, make sure they're available from the usual places. |

While you're there, another question on Linux: can I switch from it to Windows and back easily, ie if I have a program that doesn't work well, or at all, with Linux, can I switch back to Windows to use it, or how hard is that?
