Ah, I do like my ABM. This seems to be a pretty long album – something like seventy-five minutes long, if my abacus doesn't lie to me – and I'm assuming all instrumental? No, no: I hear voices almost right away, low though and kind of indistinct until suddenly there's that old Black Metal screech I love so well. Great atmosphere to this, good biting guitars and even the vocal melds in quite well with the music. First track is seventeen minutes long, though it doesn't seem like it at all. The second track (they're all called Winter with a number after it) “Penance” is a lot faster and bouncier than the opener, some great riffing on this and a mad drum solo. Ish. All these songs are long – I mean, really long: the shortest is just under ten minutes – but they're all really great. Some lovely laid back guitar in, um, “Interment”. Some nice “clean” vocals too. Overall, very enjoyable: powerful, epic, chilling at times with some really nice almost pastoral moments.

There are, but this is against this particular album and they have the country as Italy. They're just wrong. Happens, I guess.
