Like I said, a masterpiece of ridiculousness. I can't tell if we agree or disagree about that, haha.

I didn't care for the Lobster either, so perhaps I just don't like satirical films with serious facades.

I don't know what Lobster is, but I don't think Snowpiercer has a serious facade. It's a pretty humorous movie. Bong Joon Ho is a lot like Terry Gilliam in that he tends to make funny absurdist films that also have some darkness running through them. I guess that's just something that really appeals to me. That's also what I like about Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Jean-Claude Lauzon.
