Angry Need help to find song - Answer to Tom Waits Martha

I have been humming a song for years now, and I am 95% sure that it's a real song, and not something I've dreamt up.

The song is a letter, written by Martha, the same Martha that Tom Waits is singing about in his song. It's her answer to his letter.

It's a calm song, and I remember some of the lyrics, but not in correct order;

- Fred's all right, we got divorced last year... (not sure about the name)
- It's Martha please recall..you know you were my all.
And it ends with - Now good bye.

I think the title is "Tom's song" but this absent helped me anything.
So.... I need help...or soon a shrink, this is driving me crazy.

Was it by Tom Waits or by somebody else?

It was by someone else, a woman.

Record a clip on Vocaroo of you humming the tune and post it here.

I've never heard of such a thing, but maybe you'd be better asking on a Waits forum? Someone there might know.
