A few months before trying to assassinate then president Gerald Ford, Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme tried getting face to face with Jimmy Page - very public leader of the biggest band on the planet in 1975.

Manson wanted Fromme to kill someone whose death would shake the masses badly.

Tony Iommi was almost the guitarist for Jethro Tull, which would have meant no Black Sabbath.
