i hate it when people dont like for the music you like. thats so typical american though so it doesn't bother me that much now as it used to. like your post here, at my shcool you would be labled an idiot and an outcast and you would get the stuff said to you like: "hey why dont you make like a tree and leaf." just really bad american humor. but since i like your music taste i would indefinitely seek you out and become your friend. :)

antony & the johnsons, belle & sebastian, delgados, Xiu Xiu, The go! team, smog, sons & daughters, husker du, explosions in the sky, le tigre, Mogwai, liars, silver Mnt zion, trail of dead... and badly drawn boy are all good. havent heard of the others.

from people who are robots and go with mainstream media food. sell outs. god i hate narrow minded people.

this is slightly off topic, but i love the whole popular/nonpopular thing you've got goin' on in your schools, its rediculous...and the abuse the "populars" give the "unpopular" kids is horrible...that sh*it is non existant in our schools, i went to a gimnasium ( it's sorta a general education highschool,where the people with the best grades go, we also have specialised highschools, like econimics, electronics, nurse and such...) and that sh*it never happened, the people who were "nerds" ( which basicaly means they're really really smart ) weren't treated differently from the more hip kids, and were/are respected for their brains...also we had a lot of metal, rock people and people listenin to house and noone dissed others for their choice in music...

i wish that were so in my shcool adidasss. but it aint going to happen. it actually is getting better between the girls. the more pop. are going with the straight edge kids. so thats cool.

Most of my friends just listen to rock. So i guess any death metal would be something everyone I know hates. I've never met anyone esle who likes Cannibal Corpse except on the internet. :laughing:

the strokes and kings of leon are hardly far-out alternative bands. pretty mainstream id say.

im like in lust with modest mouse's music but all my friends hate it, more or less say its worthless, so yeh that sux
