Kayo Dot
Choirs of the Eye

I ordered this album in March of last year. They self released the first ever vinyl pressing and I guess it got backordered like f*ck because, yeah, nine months. THE DAY OF WAITING IS OVER.

The Voyager Golden Record 3xLP BOx set from Ozma Records

I just ended my two month "no buying records" pause and pulled the trigger on this because it was a good price and I don't think I'll ever see it retail at $90 again. Super excited.

I've been saving interesting bargain records from the shop over the last few weeks. Stuff that either was too obscure to sell for more than a few bucks or had too much damage to ask for true value. I have a pretty worn needle that I'll use for the real beat up copies but the idea here was to collect and discover some more obscure artists and bands to try and make my collection more diverse. Plus, I just like finding sh*t nobody else would really like. There's some well known artists in there. Those are the ones that were beat and less than five bucks. Here's what I've been bringing home...

Stan Levey - This Time The Drum's On Me
The Jazz City Workshop - The Jazz City Workshop
Vic Ciro - The Sound - This one is a 45. The song is f*cking awesome. Check it out.

Jess Sutton, Marty Grosz - More Music From The Upright - Manufactured as a promo disc for the Clark Equipment company, who made forklifts and other industrial equipment. Sutton played keyboards while Grosz played banjo.

John Coltrane - Afro Blue Impressions
George Benson - White Rabbit
The Johnny Otis Show - The Johnny Otis Show Live At Monterey!
Eddie Costa Quintet - Eddie Costa Quintet
Nat Adderley, Coleman Hawkins, Lucky Thompson With The Harry Arnold Orchestra - Great Big Band And Friends
Lionel Hampton - Many Splendored Vibes
Les McCann & Eddie Harris - Swiss Movement
Stan Kenton And His Orchestra - Stan Kenton Classics
Larry Coryell - Barefoot Boy
Paul Desmond - Glad To Be Unhappy
Peter Kuhn Quintet - Livin´ Right
Billy Mure - Supersonic Guitars

The next are mostly from Brazil and Colombia.

Quinteto Violado - A Feira
Billo’s Caracas Boys, Cheo Garcia, Memo Morales - El Pajarillo
Various - G.R.E.S. Acadêmicos Do Salgueiro Apresenta: Os Maiores Sambas-Enrêdo De Todos Os Tempos
Various - 14 Cañonazos Bailables Vol. 14
Nilo Amaro E Seus Cantores De Ébano - Os Anjos Cantam

Donald Erb - Music For Instruments & Electronic Sounds
Robbie Basho - Art Of The Acoustic Steel String Guitar 6 & 12
The Copper Plated Integrated Circuit - Plugged In Pop

Next three are radio shows/novelty.

Inner Sanctum (5) / The Hermit's Cave - The Vengeful Corpse / Hanson's Ghost
Mike Harding - Sound Effects No. 13 - Death & Horror
The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band - Smoke Dreams

Karl-Birger Blomdahl - Aniara - An Epic Of Space Flight In 2038 A.D.
Ted Auletta And His Orchestra - Exotica
Gerd Zacher - Modern Works For Organ
