I'd rather buy LCD SS's "last" show at Madison Square Garden 5 LP. I almost sorta wish it was their last show too.

Mark Stewart - Mark Stewart I had only heard As the Veneer of Democracy Starts to Fade before I got this. This is a lot better tbh, crazy that this was dropped in 87. Claude Debussy La Mer/Fêtes/Iberia (1972) Gotta love Debussy I have a seriously ****ed up copy that needed replacing. Nostalgia>>>> Suck it batboy.

Well, my incredible luck with buying collections continues. I spent $260 buying a collection out of a storage unit. It was pretty risky considering I didn't check condition until I got home and only saw a few albums. They were all taped up boxes. Guy assured me that I'd be happy once I got home. He told me that they were all from a radio station that closed down in 1994. When I heard that date I literally felt my hairs stick up. That's "CDs and tapes are the future" era. He said that a lot of people took turns grabbing albums so while it wasn't a huge selection, it was more than worth the purchase. I'm surprised he didn't want more but I took the risk and went for it.
Here are the highlights. These are pretty much ALL original pressings. Bob Dylan - Blonde On Blonde Chris Isaak - Heart Shaped World David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World David Bowie - Space Oddity David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars Deep Purple - Made In Japan The Hassles - Hour Of The Wolf Iggy Pop - Live at the Channel 7-19-88 Jawbox - Novelty The Jesus and Mary Chain - Barbed Wire Kisses The Jesus and Mary Chain - Darklands King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King Lou Reed & John Cale - Songs for Drella Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Good Son Nirvana - MTV Unplugged In New York - This is beat up a bit. Still really awesome. Nirvana - Nevermind - 100% original. This is a big boy. This is worth hundreds. Pearl Jam - Yield Pearl Jam - Vs Pearl Jam - Vitalogy R.E.M. - Murmur R.E.M. - Chronic Town EP The Replacements - Pleased to Meet Me The Replacements - I Will Dare single She Silverstein - Boy Named Sue The Sisters Of Mercy - First And Last And Always Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation - This was huge. F*cking original. Sonic Youth - Goo - Again, original. Huge. Sonic Youth - Disappearer Sonic Youth - 100% Promo Single Sonic Youth - Candle (Edit) Promo single Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs T. Rex - The Slider Tom Waits - Big Time Various - Burning Ambitions - A History of Punk - Lots of awesome sh*t on this. Buzzcocks, The Fall, The Damned, Sham 69, Killing Joke... White Zombie - La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1 - Special glow in the dark vinyl. I'm not into White Zombie so I may sell this. It's pretty cool though. It's value is over $200 though. I'm still going through the boxes though. Could be more. This is insane. I have enough records that I don't particularly want that will pay for the purchase and then some so I basically got all these for free. F*CKING SONIC YOUTH DAYDREAM NATION AND GOO. WHAT!? My life is neat. |

How many records/boxes were there?
The Madcap Laughs is a great find too, you're not going to find that for cheap and in good condition unless you come across it in a garage sale or something.

Never even heard of this. Best live band I've ever seen though that's a fact.
