Seriously, if you feel negative about not being able to find new things to enjoy, I think you're trying too hard to enjoy things. It doesn't necessarily happen right away. It sneaks up on you like an assassin.
So listen to lots of music, but be ok with the fact that most of it wont be your new favorite thing or even all that appealing to you. Then one day, you suddenly find yourself loving Peruvian folk music and Italian opera. Music works in mysterious ways. Also just listen to your old favorites whenever you don't have the energy to deal with new things. Works great for me to cycle between new things and old favorites. |
