Default Nothing to see here, move along

Post the most inoffensive, unremarkable music you can think of.
Not good music.
Not bad music.
Just dull, middle of the road adequacy.

This is a really boring idea.
Which is fitting, because I'm feeling really bored and unenthusiastic today.

Keep my boring Friday rolling and bring on the vanilla!

I wanted to post something from Matchbox 20 but then I got worried I might accidentally play a few seconds of one of their songs.

Honestly this could probably apply to any Katatonia album post-2006 but this was the first one where I listened to it and honestly couldn't remember a single thing about it.

I think I could post a zillion songs for this category. Don't even know where to start.

He's seen as this working class Bob Dylan, which I guess makes sense, but I don't think any of his songs mean anything to me. I think he wrote Because the Night for Patti Smith (or maybe she just covered it) and her version is pretty good at least.

I agree with this 100%. I've tried listening to a lot of their newer albums and it's just in one ear, out the other.

Aside from New Years Day and Bloody Sunday I don't think there's any U2 that I love. Not any that I hate either.
They're the essence of a vanilla band to me. Along with R.E.M., Coldplay and Aerosmith they're like the big 4 of "Eh, it's allright, I guess."

Just happened to hear this this morning. The audio equivalent of eating a Nilla wafer:

There's at least 50 contemporary pop clichés rolled into one song there.
I just realize how Bieber's singing voice isn't really annoying as much as just oddly bland and... "normal" sounding.
