Default Albums for When You're High as a Kite

I found one thread for this, but it's last post was from 13 years ago, so I figured a new thread was in order.

I highly dig None So Vile and Blasphemy Made Flesh when I'm sober, but god damn do those riffs open up and become epic and perfect after a good bowl. And every time I do Cryptopsy gets even better when I'm sober.

But right now this is easily my favorite stoner album. I don't even really know how to listen to Diamanda Galas normally, but after a few tokes she becomes this untamed banshee spirit of anger and vengeance whose performance leaves me completely and utterly enthralled. She's got mad good ****, but this being a live album with basically perfect production makes this highly definitive. This **** is as terrifying and hideous as it is wonderful.

I don't know if there are specific albums for me, since pretty much everything sounds better when I'm stoned. I suppose when I'm super high and barely functional, I throw on something safe since I'll know it's good. So...Tim Buckley or something?

That is a very ****ing good idea. I got three days off and looking to get on some ****. But although I definitely have go tos, I love that uncertainty of how an album will hit while baked, followed by the potential revelation when it plays and it goes next level.

Man, I just love listening to albums high. I've got into albums I absolutely would hate if I was sober, but being high just makes me appreciate everything about it. I can never find any faults and it makes me wanna go back when I'm sober and listen to it again and again.

Oh and obviously any of ICP's classic albums are ace. Also brings me back to when I first got into them and was smoking the heaviest of my entire career.

Only heard their first couple records before, but about to zone out to Blood in Our Wells. Expecting great things.
