So, what is this "flange" you speak of. How does it work?

Either way, I never found it to be bad music, just not my thing atm. It probably never will be a thing I love, but I can see myself getting into more of it at the right time.

I mean, I sure as hell wouldn't thought I'd suddenly enjoy these other kinds of post hc bands. Took a while too. In this case it required a mindset/expectation change.
Do you have any idea how many times I had to listen to Cryptopsy's None So Vile before I liked it? And then until I realized how amazing it was? And I still don't know if my opinion of it has reached its heights. Form immediate opinions and argue them for the fun of it, but always keep in the back of your mind that **** can get real with the toke of a blunt.

Also Batlord, you know I don't really tend to listen for the most interesting and diverse music.

I'll pass.

It's weird how I recently noticed in serious storytelling I prefer interesting less instantly satisfying stuff like psychological thrillers, (aka artsy and expirimental **** but not too much so) yet with music I've always liked the regular stuff and am generally not into the grand, proggy, artsy and expirimental ****.

Games are nice in that depth, a certain amount of simplicity and straight to the point action packed **** are easier to combine, so I love depth in games. Never detracts as long as it doesn't require too much complexity. Case in point: DMC3

I understand. I listen to a **** load of pop and related **** cause I like simple, fun music too. But there's vastly more to music than that and limiting yourself to a few specific criteria (I USED IT RIGHT, GRINDY!) is doing yourself a disservice. I'm sure you don't, but you sure make it sound like you do.

That's a pretty undynamic genre tbh, despite it being obscure.

In my experience, that fades with age. I think there's a reason why people start with thrash metal, then move to black, doom, etc.

I just went after the weirdest thing I could think of on the spot.
