I'm not so big on jazz in general (yet) but I'm getting there. I don't know what kind of Jazz Kendrick Scott Oracle does but I like it a lot.

Idk about that artist but judging from what I know about your tastes I think you'd like Miles Davis's Tribute to Jack Johnson. Melodically driven and straightforward enough for people who lack a dialogue with jazz.
