Classical = If it's the 20th century, you'll never fall asleep to a lot of the heavy-weight composers, you'll be bombarded with more badassery than you can shake a stick at Country = Depends but if it's dark, it's probably going to be compelling Metal = This one's got to be a joke

Of course not. I try my best to listen to music that I want to listen to, and have spent a lot of time trying to up my game when it comes to metal, reggae and country. I think Classical music is the only genre that I would admit to not even making any attempt to check out the "good stuff".
Obviously things change and maybe some day I will not hold that opinion, but they are definitely the most boring to me. Edit: I forgot ambient. Fuck ambient.

Reggae's a great choice because it has amazingly little variety across artists in the genre.

I've never really been able to get into reggae either. It's fine sometimes, but nothing's ever stuck out to me whenever I've given it a shot. It's definitely a genre that's boring as **** at times.
And I'd stick up for ambient, as I've been slowly getting into it for a little while, but at this point I'd have nothing to say beyond, "Hey, I think it's pretty c00l, bro."
