Spotify are very slow in reacting. You only have to look at their forum to see the massive lack of responses to valid queries, such as the idea that the system, even with my Premium membership, will only allow me play songs on shuffle on my phone and keeps asking me to upgrade to premium. I think it may be run by a hardcore cadre of monkeys to be honest.

I've always been able to not have shuffle when on Premium. Maybe it's a Spotify England thing, but that doesn't make any sense.

It's been asked multiple times on their forum, with multiple absence of any answers, clues or hints. They must know by now it's a problem; they just seem unwilling to bother to fix whatever little bug is in the Android version I guess. Really makes you want to remain a customer of theirs.

I don't have an issue with it on my android phone. They can't direct line into your device. I'm sure whatever the issue is is pretty complicated. I'm a regular visitor to /r/spotify so I know about all the user requests and what not. That's all they get is user requests. I'm sure they're doing the best they can with them being still a relatively small company and all.
