The overwhelming theme of this thread subject is whiny bullsh*t. If you don't like it, don't use it. Bands don't mind the small payout per stream because it gets the music out there. Youtube pays well. Shows pay well and there are always people looking to see live music. The resurgence in vinyl is also helping these bands. It's $9.99 a month for all the music you could ever listen to minus a few exceptions. Too expensive? Get some friends and do the family plan. Don't have friends? You can probably afford the $9.

Admittedly I haven't tried it recently. Will get back to you.

Depends on what you're looking for. Some of the albums in the album club haven't been there and I've had to get them on YouTube.

No it isn't. It's recognised on the forum by, again, multiple people as being a legitimate problem. It's all "yeah man I know but nobody will address it". Not a me problem, not this time. And my phone is fine thank you.

I'm very happy with Spotify. I'm saying **** you to the bands who are too greedy to capitulate. If they don't want to be heard then fine I won't listen. I have millions of other songs to check out.

Yeah I must have deleted it. Probably not going to redownload and install it now. It's not like I use it much on my phone anyway and I couldn't be arsed doing it just to prove a point.

Well yeah I do have to say that sounds whiny. Chances are it's their label anyway calling the shots so why take it out on the band?

I don't have an issue with it on my android phone. They can't direct line into your device. I'm sure whatever the issue is is pretty complicated. I'm a regular visitor to /r/spotify so I know about all the user requests and what not. That's all they get is user requests. I'm sure they're doing the best they can with them being still a relatively small company and all.

Pretty stupid thing to boycott over if we are being honest Hawk.

How long have you not had it installed?

I guess I'd have to ask you to clarify too, Occult: do you mean you're boycotting artists who don't have every single album on Spotify, or just the ones who aren't there at all?

Probably not that long if I'm honest. I think I deleted a load of apps at the hospital last week because everything was running really slow. It could have been gone before that, I don't remember. But probably no more than a month at best.

Yeahhhh you should re-install it and see if the problem persists because they probably updated it. Or, if you're not paying for it anymore, not.
